Century Commercial Bank unveils Multi Currency Card for the first time in Nepal; also launches mobile app & Indo-Nepal Remit

Century Commercial Bank Limited has introduced three new technology based services today.
The bank has launched “Multi Currency Card” in collaboration with Axis Bank, India. Introduced for the first time in Nepal, a total of 16 different currencies can be loaded in the “Multi Currency Card”, which helps its customers to make foreign trips easier as customers can directly withdraw 16 different currencies from 16 countries around the world from this card.
Secondly, Century Commercial Bank, in coordination with India’s Axis Bank, has introduced Indo-Nepal Easy Remit. From this, Nepalese working in India can easily send their money through 3,500 branches of Axis Bank.
Unveiling its third techno-based service today amidst a function in Hotel Annapurna, Durbar Marg, the bank has released its mobile app as part of its Mobile Banking Service. The customers can pay money, transfer, pay utility bills and make payments to various associated vendors through this mobile app. The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store, Google Play Services and Apple Store as well.
The bank has recently acquired Alpine Development Bank and Seti Finance and will soon start joint operation. It has already floated 40% right shares to its shareholders and also issue bonus share in order to fulfill the capital requirement of Rs 8 arba.
