CDSC held 3rd and 4th AGM on Bhadra 9; total accumulative loss of Rs 10.59 crore

Central Depository System and Clearing Limited (CDSC), a subsidiary of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) held its 3rd and 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of fiscal year 2069/70 and 2070/71 on Bhadra 9, 2072 (yesterday).

CDSC had an earning of 1.58 crore in the fiscal year 2069/70 which went up by 67.83 percent in the fiscal year 2070/71. In the fiscal year 2070/71 the company had an earning of 2.65 crore.

Whereas in the fiscal year 2069/70 CDSC’s  expenses stood at Rs 6.20 crore and in the fiscal year 2070/71 its expenses rose to Rs 6.39 crore. CDSC had a net loss of Rs 3.73 crore in the fiscal year 2070/71.

The total accumulative loss of the company  till the review period is at Rs 10.59 crore.

Till Bhadra 9, a total number 106 companies have converted their ordinary share in demat form, whereas  63,843 people have opened a demat account and a total number of  7.55 crore shares have been converted into dematerialized form.
