Cancellation of Registration of Two Cooperatives in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has recently revoked the registration of two cooperative organizations operating within its jurisdiction.

As per the Cooperative Department of the metropolis, the registration of 'Jestha Nagarik Swasthya Sewa Sahakari Sanstha' located in Kathmandu-5 Chabahil, and 'Sukas Bachat Tatha Rin Sahakari Sanstha' in Chabahil, has been officially canceled.

The KMC Office has issued a notification stating that individuals who have outstanding dues or loans to be repaid to these institutions, or have deposited savings with them, are required to contact the department within 15 days from the publication of the notice. Failure to do so may result in the department disclaiming responsibility for any subsequent claims or protests following the cancellation.

All pertinent information regarding the cancellation and the necessary actions to be taken by borrowers and savers has been included in the notice published on Friday by the KMC Office.
