Cabinet Appoints Yanki Ukyab as CEO of Investment Board Nepal

The Government of Nepal has appointed Yanki Ukyab as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Office of the Board of Investment.

The decision was made during the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. According to government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel, the appointment was approved based on a proposal submitted by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

Ukyab, a resident of Kathmandu, will now lead Investment Board Nepal, the country's apex agency responsible for facilitating and promoting large-scale domestic and foreign investments.

As CEO, Ukyab is expected to oversee the implementation of major investment projects and support the government's efforts to attract greater private sector and foreign direct investment into Nepal.
