BYD Dolphin 2025 Launched in Nepal with Industry-First LFP Battery and Smart Upgrades

Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD in Nepal, has launched the new BYD Dolphin 2025, redefining electric hatchbacks in the country. This upgraded model introduces an industry-first Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Low Voltage Battery, which is lighter, more durable, and offers a 15-year lifespan. Key upgrades include improved suspension, brighter LED headlights, enhanced air conditioning, and new smart features like NFC and Bluetooth keys.

With a WLTP range of 340 km and 30-minute fast charging, the Dolphin 2025 offers high performance at a competitive price of NPR 41.15 lakhs, including a 7kW home charger. Available in three colors, the model also celebrates a milestone of 830,000 global deliveries, with Nepal’s 2,490th unit sold. Cimex reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable mobility and EV innovation in Nepal.
