Bus set on Fire at Tripureshwar

A bus belonging to the Riddhisiddhi Yatayat was set on fire at Tripureshwar Chowk in Kathmandu today. Chief of Kathmandu District Police Office, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dilip Ghimire told that the driver himself set fire to the Riddhisiddhi Transport bus.

SSP Ghimire said that the driver who got injured in the incident was sent to Burn Hospital in Kirtipur for treatment.

The police have said that an investigation is underway into the reasons why the bus was set on fire. The details of the bus and the driver have not been revealed yet.
