Breaking Records: Nepal's Gold Market Hits All-Time High

The price of gold in Nepal continues its upward momentum, setting a new all-time high in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold surged by Rs. 1,000, reaching an unprecedented Rs. 199,400 per tola.

This marks a significant jump from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 198,400 per tola and surpasses the earlier record of Rs. 197,900 per tola set on April 22, 2025.

Tejabi gold, a popular variant among buyers, also witnessed a substantial increase, rising to Rs. 198,700 per tola from Rs. 197,700 per tola the day before.

The surge in prices has not been limited to gold alone. Silver has also experienced a notable rise, climbing by Rs. 10 per tola. The price of silver now stands at Rs. 2,325 per tola, up from Rs. 2315 per tola.
