Bosch Launches First Brand Store in Nepal in Partnership with Laxmi Group, Marking Major South Asia Expansion

BSH Home Appliances Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, has officially launched its first Bosch Brand Store in Nepal, marking a key milestone in its South Asia growth strategy. The store has been opened in partnership with Laxmi Group and is located in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.

The new store offers customers direct access to Bosch’s premium range of home appliances, including refrigeration, laundry, dishwashing, food preparation, and built-in kitchen solutions. It aims to bring German engineering excellence closer to Nepali consumers and support the country’s growing demand for modern, technology-driven lifestyle products.

The company highlighted Nepal as an emerging premium appliance market driven by urbanization, rising income levels, and changing lifestyles. Bosch leadership stated that the brand sees strong long-term potential in Nepal and aims to strengthen its presence through continued investment and collaboration with local partners.

A major focus area for Bosch in Nepal is the fast-growing front-load washing machine segment, which already accounts for 70–80% of the laundry market. The brand also sees rising potential in the dishwasher segment, driven by increasing hygiene awareness, changing family structures, and exposure to global lifestyles.

The brand store also showcases Bosch’s built-in kitchen appliances, reflecting growing demand for modular kitchens and integrated living spaces in Nepal. The showroom is designed to offer hands-on experience, expert consultation, and a premium retail environment.
