Bonus Shares Deposit Update for ADBL and MFIL

Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL) has made the provision to distribute the 15% bonus shares directly to Demat accounts of its shareholders.

The bank distributed a 15.7895% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77, i.e. 15% bonus shares and 0.7895% cash dividend (for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital. The same bonus shares will now be deposited in Demat accounts.

The same bonus shares are already listed in NEPSE and the agreement is already made with NEPSE and CDSC so the shares are all set for trading in the secondary market. Meanwhile, the company has requested investors to dematerialized their shares and receive their bonus shares if they have not done so yet. Furthermore, investors who have taken a margin loan against the shares of ADBL by the book closure date will have their bonus shares frozen under the name of the lending institution. Such investors should consult with their lending institutions for related procedures.

Similarly, Manjushree Finance Limited (MFIL) has distributed 18% bonus shares directly to the Demat accounts of its shareholders.

Manjushree Finance convened its 13th AGM for the FY 2076-77 under the leadership of its chairman on Poush 29, 2077. The AGM endorsed the decision to provide 18% bonus shares and a 5.5% cash dividend.

The same bonus shares are already listed in NEPSE and the agreement is already made with NEPSE and CDSC so the shares are all set for trading in the secondary market. Meanwhile, the company has requested investors to dematerialized their shares and receive their bonus shares if they have not done so yet.
