BoK opens new branch office at Bellauri

Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) has opened its new branch office at Bellauri, Kanchanpur. Issuing a press release, the bank said that Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Deputy Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari inaugurated the branch office amid a function on Sunday.
The bank has said that the total number of branch offices in its network has reached 51 with the addition of Bellauri branch. “We are committed in adding value toward improvement of access to finance in the country.
Geographically, the country has difficult terrain. On top of that, large numbers of people fall in low-income category,” the release quoted its CEO Ajay Shrestha as saying. “We feel that our objectives can be met only if we have plans that carry socio-economic value along with suitable financial products.”
