Balen Shah to Introduce Key Election Bills in Today's National Assembly Meeting
The National Assembly of Nepal is scheduled to hold a meeting today (Sunday) starting at 11:15 AM. According to the parliament's agenda, Prime Minister and Home Minister Balen Shah will present key legislative proposals received from the House of Representatives.
During the session, the Prime Minister will introduce a proposal to initiate a detailed, clause-by-clause discussion on the House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Bill, 2083. Following the discussion, he will present a final proposal to officially pass the bill.
Additionally, Prime Minister Shah is set to present another set of proposals concerning the Voter List (First Amendment) Bill, 2083. This will include a request for the assembly to begin a clause-by-clause review of the voters' list amendment, followed by a separate proposal to vote on and pass the legislation.
