Annual revenue collection target achieved within 40 days

The Customs Office, Timure, has been able to collect the annual target of revenue collection within 40 days. The Office collected Rs 396.3 million revenue against this year's target of collecting Rs 396 million. The Office achieved the success after Nepali businessmen started importing Chinese goods from Kerung, the northern border check point. The Office collected Rs 396.3 million revenue till December 29. According to Office Chief, Kedar Paneru, clothes, apples, motor spares, electronic appliances, readymade clothes, footwear, raw wool, garlic, among others were imported to Nepal via the check point during the period.
