All Eight Local Levels in Jumla Unveil Budget for FY 2083/84
All eight local levels of Jumla District have announced their policies, programmes, and budgets for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 BS. One municipality and seven rural municipalities made their budgets public on Wednesday.
Among them, Chandannath Municipality unveiled a budget of Rs 594.6 million, the highest in the district. Tatopani Rural Municipality allocated Rs 542.8 million, while Patarasi Rural Municipality announced a budget of Rs 454.6 million.
Similarly, Tila Rural Municipality presented a budget of Rs 505.1 million, and Hima Rural Municipality allocated Rs 437.9 million. Kanakasundari Rural Municipality unveiled a budget of Rs 451.2 million, while Guthichaur Rural Municipality unveiled a budget of Rs 383.6 million.
The local governments have prioritized institutional strengthening, good governance, sustainable infrastructure development, preservation of arts and cultural heritage, and improvements in the healthcare and education sectors for the upcoming fiscal year.
