One notable change in the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the removal of the existing mute button, which will be replaced with a new button specifically designed for 5G phones.
Recently, an image of what is claimed to be the outer shell of the upcoming iPhone 15 was leaked. Based on this image, it is speculated that the mute button will be eliminated from the new iPhone. A tipster named Majin Boo made this claim while sharing the picture.
If this turns out to be true, the position of the mute switch button on the iPhone 15 Pro Max will change, marking the first such alteration in almost 16 years.
From the image of the shell, it appears that the new replacement button will have a circular shape. According to claims, this new button will have the capability to control the camera and power off the phone, combining multiple functions into a single button.
Reports suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a larger notch to accommodate the rear camera. This suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro Max may sport an enhanced camera system, including a 48-megapixel main camera.
The screen size of the iPhone 15 series is expected to be the same as that of the iPhone 14 series. However, the bezel around the display will be reduced, resulting in a more visually appealing design and providing users with a larger screen space.
Another significant change in the iPhone 15 series is the charging port. Apple will be abandoning its proprietary Lightning port in favor of a Type-C port. This means that the iPhone 15 series will be the first iPhone lineup to feature a Type-C port.
