400 Million Rs 1 Coins to Hit the Market as NRB Invites Bids

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has invited bids from pre-qualified security minting companies for the designing, minting, supply and delivery of 400 million pieces of Nepalese Rs 1 denomination coins. The bidding is open to pre-qualified companies under an international competitive bidding process.

Interested bidders can purchase the bidding documents until November 2, 2026, while sealed bids must be submitted by 12 noon on November 3, 2026. The bids will be opened the same day at 1 PM. A minimum bid security of USD 148,000 is required.
