141 houses to quake-damaged schools

Some 141 new buildings were handed over to the April 25 earthquake-affected schools of the district. The quake-hit primary and lower secondary schools of the district were provided with 101 two-room and 18 three-room buildings, said District Education Officer Keshab Dahal. Likewise secondary and higher secondary schools of Khotang received 14 four-room, four six-room and four eight-room buildings, he shared. The District Education Office has allocated a budget of Rs 17.7 million for the construction and maintenance of the earthquake-hit buildings. RSS
