108 Companies Awaiting IPO Approval; Pipeline Amount Reaches More Than Rs. 70 Arba

The updated SEBON IPO pipeline list has 108 companies waiting for the IPO approval, recently four companies have applied to the Securities Board of Nepal for permission to launch their Initial Public Offerings. This is a time where retail investors have been eagerly waiting for fresh investment opportunities, as new IPO approvals are not coming and primary shares have not been available for the public to apply for quite some time. The current IPO pipeline issue size has 48 crores 17 lakhs 76 thousand 663 total number of share amounting total issue 70 arba 19 crore 59 lakhs 95 thousand 196. This is what Nepal’s capital market is witnessing in near future. DMAT account and Mero Share account is gaining higher volume and higher apply rate to IPO than previous year. With SEBON focusing on capital market development implementing new features like short selling and derivative market investor are eagerly waiting for the development. Some Investors says this technical development leads NEPSE to the new hight.

Recently Four companies representing the healthcare, agriculture, hydropower, and investment sectors have formally applied to the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) to seek permission for launching their Initial Public Offerings (IPOs). Among the applicants, Madhyapur Hospital Limited is seeking approval to offer 28,00,000 shares valued at Rs 28 crore, with Muktinath Capital Limited appointed as its issue manager. Indreni Mushroom Farm Limited has proposed an issue of 8,75,000 shares worth Rs 8.75 crore, also managed by Muktinath Capital Limited. Additionally, Makarigad Hydropower Limited aims to offer 22,27,500 shares worth Rs 22.275 crore for both local residents and the general public through Sanima Capital Limited, while Kalinchowk Investment Company Limited has applied to issue 24,00,000 shares valued at Rs 24 crore with Nabil Investment Banking Limited acting as its issue manager.
