Sebon directs CDSC & Merchant Banks to ease investors; urges BFIs to start trading right after joint transaction

Securities Board of Nepal has issued notice to CDS and Clearing Limited, Merchant Bank and listed companies addressing the complaints of investors relating to IPO/right share form fill up, lack of collection centers for right share, problem in fragmented shares and so on. From now onwards, any merchant bankers should have enough number of collection centers for submitting IPO and right share application forms. Also any companies undergoing merger/ acquisition process should start trading right after joint operation or at least within 15 days of merger/acquisition process.
