Last day to secure 17.25% bonus share of Prime Commercial Bank, book closure tomorrow

Today is the last day to get hold of 17.25% bonus share of Prime Commercial Bank Limited (PCBL) for the FY 2072/73. Only those shareholders owning shares till today (Poush 27, 2073) will be entitled to the proposed bonus share of the company. The register of their shareholders will remain closed from tomorrow till their AGM (Poush 28 to Magh 12, 2073). The AGM will be endorsing bonus share worth Rs. 85.22 crore from the profits it made in FY 2072/73. As per an official of the commercial bank, the right share allottees of the recently issued 33% right shares are also eligible for the proposed bonus shares. “Since the bank has allotted the recently issued right shares, those shareholders are also entitled to the bonus.”, said the official. The adjusted bonus share percentage is around 17.25%. Prime Commercial Bank Limited earned Rs 25.10 crore in the first quarter of the FY 2073/74. It is in the process of acquiring Biratlaxmi Development Bank and Country Development Bank.
