Strong battle between buyers & sellers; Nepse Index closes positively by meager 1.21 points with increasing turnover above Rs 53.73 crore

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 1.21 points or 0.09% to close at 1357.34 points.


Today, NEPSE Index opened at 1356.16 points and was seen fluctuating throughout the day—depicting strong battle between buyers and sellers.

246,700 unit shares of Siddhartha Equity Oriented Schme (SEOS) and 175,868 unit shares of Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Promoter Shares (BOKPO) were traded the most today.

The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 53.73 crore where more than 13.46 lakh units shares were traded through 3,584 transactions.

Sensitive and float index went up by 0.37 points and 0.07 points respectively.

Except Banking, Insurance and Others sectors, all sectors in NEPSE landed in red. Sub-indices of insurance sector rose the most by 33 points.
