Stock Market continues to plunge by double digit; Index dips by 39.57 points with turnover above Rs 1.50 arba

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has declined by 39.57 points or 2.40% to close at 1612.04 points today. NEPSE Index opened at 1651.62 points today and was seen fluctuating afterward. index 156,152 units shares of Sanima Bank Limited (SANIMA) and 147,746 units shares of NMB Sulav Investment Fund-1 (NMBSF1) were traded the most today. Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) hit positive circuit today whereas Vijay Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (VLBS) and Everest Bank Limited (EBL) hit negative circuit break. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.50 arba where more than 22.09 lakh units shares were traded through 10,176 transactions. Sensitive index and float index decreased 9.08 and 3.04 points respectively. Except Manufacturing & Production sectors, all sectors landed in red zone today.
