Selling pressure pulls down market; Dips by 3.68 points supported by turnover above Rs 1.38 arba

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has declined by 3.68points or 0.22% to close at 1,658.34 points today. Nepse Index opened at 1662.08 points today and the local bourse was seen fluctuating throughout the day. index 184,776 units shares of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) and 103,204 units shares of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Limited (NCCB) were traded the most today. Mirmire Microfinance Development Bank Limited (MMFDB) and Kabeli Bikas Bank Limited (KEBL) hit positive circuit break today. Prabhu Bank Bank limited (PRVU) and National Life Insurance Company Limited (NLICL) had the highest turnover of Rs 7.97 crore and Rs 7.67 crore respectively. The number of transactions of PRVU and NLICL reached 466 and 216. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.38 arba where more than 16.96 lakh units shares were traded through 8,470 transactions. Sensitive index and float index decreased 0.98 and 0.28 points respectively.
