Last day to secure 122% bonus share of Rastriya Beema Company; Book Closure tomorrow

Today is the last day to get hold of 122 percent bonus share of Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) for the fiscal year 2060/61, 2061/62 and 2062/63. Rastriya Beema Company will be convening its 29^th Annual General Meeting on Baisakh 22, 2074. RBCL had not mentioned its proposed bonus share in its AGM notice. As per the notice published on NEPSE on Baisakh 5, 2074, the company has proposed 37%, 51% and 27% of paid up capital as bonus share to its shareholders for the fiscal year 2060/61, 2061/62 and 2062/63 respectively. As the bonus share of 2060/61, 2061/62 will get the bonus share of following years, the bonus comes out to be 122%. The register of their shareholders will remain closed from Baisakh 8, 2074 till Baisakh 22, 2074 for the purpose of this upcoming AGM and bonus share. Only those shareholders owning shares till today are entitled to the bonus share of the company and for participation in the AGM. Rastriya Beema Company has reported a net profit of Rs. 26.16 crore in the second quarter of the current FY 2073/74. Its paid up capital stands at Rs 12.44 crore. After issuance of 122% bonus shares, its paid up capital will reach Rs 27.61 crore.
