Last Day to clinch 24.80% bonus shares of Life Insurance Corporation Nepal; Book closure tomorrow

Today is the last day to secure 24.80% bonus shares of Life Insurance Corporation Nepal (LICN). Since the register of their shareholders closes tomorrow, shareholders holding shares of LICN till today or those who buy shares today are entitled for the bonus shares. Life Insurance Corporation Nepal Limited (LICN) has proposed 24.80% stock dividend to its shareholders from the profit it earned from the FY 2072/73. The decision is subject to approval from Beema Samiti and the company’s upcoming AGM which will held on Jestha 19^th, 2074 at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi, Kathmandu. After the issuance of bonus shares, its paid up capital will reach Rs 1.33 arba from current Rs 1.06 arba. As per Insurance Board's directive for life insurance companies, its should increase its paid up capital to Rs 2 arba by the end of FY 2074/75. Its last traded price stood at Rs 2,845 as of yesterday (May  17, 2017).
