First Banking Expo kicks off from today in Kathmandu

“Banking Expo 2017” is being organized at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu from today (Baisakh 15, 2074) in collaboration with the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), Bankers Association, Development Bankers Association and Micro Finance Development Bankers Association. The expo was inaugurated by Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank. Apart from that, Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, Chairman of Securities Board of Nepal and Mr. Anil Kesari Shah, President of Nepal Bankers Association were also present during the inauguration program. Interested audience can enter the expo free of cost. The prime objective of conducting the expo is to make the general public aware of banking & financial industry and to develop financial knowledge among them. The expo will last for three days and will showcase around 45 stalls relating to banking, micro finance, insurance, merchant bankers and share market. The companies will showcase varieties of products and services offered by them.
