Citizens Bank & NB Insurance signs for ‘Bancassurance’ pact

Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) has signed an agreement with NB Insurance Company Limited (NBIL) for “Bancassurance”.
Mr. Rajan Singh Bhandari, CEO of Citizens Bank and Mr. Ugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha, CEO of NB Insurance signed on the agreement.
Issuing the press statement today, it stated that the customers of the bank can receive entire insurance services and pay their insurance premiums easily from any branch of Citizens Bank.
NB Insurance has collected insurance premium of Rs 50 crore in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2073/74. The insurance company will expand its scheme and services in near future added Mr. Shrestha.
