Capital Market Index rises by 8.84 points with turnover above Rs 62.02 crore

The benchmark capital market index, Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), rises by 8.84 points or 0.05 % to close at 1602.65 points today. Nepse Index opened at 1593.30 points today and the local bourse was seen in upward trend today. index 163,200 units shares of Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS)  and 125,000 units shares of NIBL Samriddhi Fund -1 (NIBSF1)  were traded the most today. Standard Chartered Bank Limited (SCB) has the highest turnover of over Rs. 6.02 crore, followed byAsian Life Insurance Company Promoter Shares (ALICLP) with Rs. 4.80 crore. RSDC Lagubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (RSDC) hit positive circuit break today whereas Synergy Finance Limited (SYFL) and Goodwill Finance Limited (GFCL) were among the top losers today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 62.02 crore where more than 13.91 lakh units shares were traded through 6,336 transactions. Sensitive index and float index slightly went down by 0.89 points and 0.69 points respectively. Except Finance, all the sub-indices landed in green zone today. Insurance and Manufacturing sub-index went up by 15.1 and 21.69 points respectively. sector traded trans turn lose gain
